As you like it – 2013.
It is a two-sided installation – a painting with two opposed faces, cm 50×70 – measuring 79 cm high x base 75 cm x 9 cm thick.
The work is inspired by the comedy of the same name by Luigi Pirandello.
The reality is a series of personal perceptions and different points of view. Each reality has a front – the part we see straight away – and a back, which we see afterwards, later on. When we stop and realise that there is something else, we recognize new and different nuances and forms, an inside and an outside, a near and a far. Everything forms and transforms before the observer’s eyes.
