Dancing Woman, a sculpture dedicated to women and their freedom

Artist Alice Voglino presents from March 7 to 11 in her atelier studio in Verona (I), Corso Milano 23, the sculpture Donna che danza (Dancing Woman) created on the occasion of the upcoming International Women’s Day.

A sculpture made in mixed media, with round and polychrome forms, which unfolds in space with a musical, rhythmic and syncopated movement to represent a woman dancing free to be herself and in harmony with the whole.

“I thought as a woman artist,” says Alice Voglino, “to join this day as a reminder that in the world not all women and girls are in the conditions to be able to dance and express themselves in color, with the hope that all of us can always reach further spaces of freedom.”
