Cosa non vedi di me
From 2021 to 2023, I deepened my research on identity by starting from observing the experience of relating with myself and with the other in the moment in which it occurs, in the space/time variables by presenting it in two successive moments entitled WHAT YOU DON’T SEE ABOUT ME and LOOKING AFTER YOU.
For me, each encounter represents an opportunity to grasp apparently hidden aspects of us and from us.
Seeing requires time and relationship, listening to the other and empathy, movement and commitment.
The first part of the research Cosa non vedi di me (2021-2022) consists of a series of paintings and sculptures, the latter made from the remnants of the same painting, exposed to different light frequencies in succession (white light, blue light, dark) to invite us to go beyond personal beliefs and to experience that something happens when we move and change our point of view.

With the sculpture Girotondo in 2023, I was a finalist in the international competition G.A.eM. – Giovani Artisti e Mosaico (Young Artists and Mosaics) organised by MAR – Museo dell’Arte della Città di Ravenna (Ravenna City Art Museum) on the occasion of the 8th Biennale of Contemporary Mosaics.
